About the Position: This position is located in Irwin Army Community Hospital at Fort Riley, Kansas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. This is an open continuous announcement. Multiple vacancies exist and may be filled from this announcement. We accept applications on an ongoing basis; qualified applicants will be considered as vacancies become available.
- Provide anesthesia and related services in accordance with hospital regulatory, licensing and credentialing policies, and with American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) Guidelines for Nurse Anesthesia Practice and Code of Ethics.
- Participate in the review of the broader types of patient care processes to ensure procedures comply with The Joint Commission and other regulatory guidelines required of the hospital.
- Provide oversight and mentorship to other CRNAs, students, trainees, rotators, new or temporary department members, and other hospital staff in the field of anesthesia in both clinical and administrative areas.
- Participate in departmental continuous improvement programs emphasizing the latest developments in the anesthesiology field.
- Serve as a resource consultant to a wide variety of professional health colleagues, regarding the latest advances in nurse anesthesia and nursing practice.
