About the Position: The Practical Nurse (Outpatient) provides support to the A. T. Augusta Military Medical Center in Fort Belvoir VA, helping ensure consistent, high-quality patient care and facility operations. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Responsabilidades
  • Provide practical nursing care to patients in the outpatient clinicwith a variety of medical conditions.
  • Record vital signs, ordering labs, tracking patient’s laboratory, radiology orders.
  • Perform direct nursing care to clinic patients via tele medicine, virtual, and face-to-face care.
  • Medication administration and observation.
  • Educate patients and families about prescribed treatments, reinforcing adherence to the medical plan.
  • Assist in performing and managing medical procedures, physical examinations, and treatments.
  • Provide patient and family education tailored to specific medical conditions, treatment plans, and recovery goals.
